Note - it seems the recovery pictures are what most people are interested in - I will have to take a new photo of how it looks almost 3 years post-op, as it's very much faded into my neck crevices and is barely noticeable.

As you can see in the pictures below, the incision is completely covered with steri-tape. It's a lot smaller than we originally thought, thankfully, but there are still a few inches of open wound on my face. The cut goes down the front of my ear, back behind my ear, then slightly down my neck. And everything you see covered in white is the actual incision, with internal stitches under the skin.
